LMP at St John’s 2017-18 Season Launch

The first concert of the series celebrates a new relationship for LMP, with the Hungarian Armel Opera Festival and Virtuózok competition which champions young classical talent and seeks performance opportunities for their finalists. Young flautist and competition finalist, Eszter Holozsai will be the first soloist to join LMP on stage, in what will become an annual tradition. LMP are honoured to be celebrating the launch of Compassionate Neighbours in the local area, with a beautiful programme of autumnal favourites, including a string orchestra arrangement of Schubert’s famed ‘Death and the Maiden’ String Quartet, and featuring the voices of St Christopher’s Community Choir in a performance of Mozart’s Ave Verum.
