Mozart Explored

Anton Bruckner Choir

Following a critically acclaimed performance of the St Matthew Passion in 2015, the Anton Bruckner Choir returns to St John’s with this scintillating pairing of Handel’s Dixit Dominus with Mozart’s Mass in C Minor.

The Anton Bruckner Choir will be joined on stage by the London Mozart Players and conductor Christopher Dawe.

Mozart Explored

In this concert, Howard Shelley and the LMP will explore Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 15. John Suchet, the voice of morning radio on Classic FM, will attend the concert to do a book signing of his recent release ‘Mozart, The Man Revealed’ after the performance. Audience members will also be invited to join the LMP after the concert for complementary Christmas cake whilst the book signing is going on.

Royal Holloway in Concert with LMP

The Royal Holloway Chamber Orchestra features some of the most distinguished student musicians in the Department of Music including, for the first time, scholars from the College’s orchestral scholarship programme. They are conducted by Director of Orchestras, Rebecca Miller, and participate in a unique side-by-side performance scheme with the UK’s oldest chamber orchestra, The London Mozart Players.

In this concert, Howard Shelley will explore Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 16, the last of three concerti written in quick succession for Mozart's own use.
