The London Mozart Players have invited composers of all ages and abilities to submit fanfares to be performed at ‘Queen & Country’ on Thursday 30th June 2016 at the Fairfield Halls, a concert that will commemorate the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.
Judged by LMP trumpeters Paul Archibald and Peter Wright, a shortlist of successful fanfares have been recorded and posted below. Watch the videos to hear the fanfares that have been shortlisted and vote for your favourite using the contact form. A performance of the winning fanfare will open the concert on 30th June.
